Triple P Discussion Groups (Online – July 2025)

Are you looking for some parenting support over the summer holidays? Denise Sneddon is running a series of online Triple P Discussion Groups via Microsoft Teams throughout July, focusing on specific parenting challenges.

These free, two-hour sessions bring parents together online to discuss common issues and learn practical strategies. You’ll even receive a free booklet and a TEAMS link before your session.

The July discussion group topics are:

  • Developing Good Bedtime Routines: Wednesday 2nd July, 13:00-15:00
  • Hassle-free Mealtimes: Wednesday 9th July, 13:00-15:00
  • Dealing with Disobedience: Wednesday 16th July, 13:00-15:00
  • Managing Fighting and Aggression: Wednesday 23rd July, 13:00-15:00
  • Hassle-free Shopping with Children: Wednesday 30th July, 13:00-15:00

No referral is needed! If you’re interested in joining any of these sessions, simply email Denise Sneddon at denise.sneddon@westlothian.gov.uk to book your place. Please aim to contact her at least one week before the session you wish to attend.


The Incredible Years Course (Blackridge Primary School – August to November 2025)

Denise Sneddon and Susan Duffy are also running a free Incredible Years Course at Blackridge Primary School starting on Monday 18th August and running until 17th November 2025 (excluding school holidays), from 13:00 to 15:00.

This 14-week course is designed to support parents, grandparents, and carers of children aged 2.5 to 8 years in managing challenging behaviour and enhancing their relationship with their children. All materials are provided, including the Incredible Years Handbook (RRP £25).

Please note that a FASS referral is required for this course.
