West Lothian Flames Basketball is establishing a new volunteer-led youth basketball club in Winchburgh for children aged 8–12.
As part of the club’s development and accreditation process with West Lothian Council, the team is currently looking for volunteer coaches and session helpers to support sessions and help build the club.
Volunteer Roles
Volunteers may support the club by:

Assisting with coaching basketball sessions

Helping deliver activities for young people aged 8–12

Encouraging and motivating participants

Supporting the smooth running of sessions
Basketball experience would be helpful for coaching roles, but it is not essential. Enthusiasm and a passion for supporting young people in sport are just as important.
Safeguarding guidance and relevant training will be provided as part of the club’s development.
