As part of the Festival of Trusteeship during Trustees’ Week 2025, Eastside People will host an online session on Wednesday 5 November, 6pm – 7pm, exploring how to remove the barriers that stop young people from becoming trustees.
Supported by the Institute of Leadership, this interactive event will look at what’s working — and what’s not — when it comes to recruiting and retaining younger trustees.
Designed for aspiring and current young trustees, as well as organisations keen to diversify their boards, the session will feature insights from young trustees sharing their experiences, and from organisations that have successfully brought new voices into the boardroom.
