Scottish Women’s Budget Group has launched its 2026 survey and is encouraging women across Scotland to take part.

The annual survey gathers insight into women’s financial situations and caring responsibilities, helping to build a clearer picture of the economic challenges women face. With the Scottish Election approaching, the findings will play an important role in ensuring women’s experiences help shape future economic policy and budget decisions.

Why take part?

Each year, responses to the survey are used to inform evidence and recommendations shared with MSPs, local elected members and partners across Scotland. Last year’s findings contributed to briefings on issues such as council tax and women’s financial security.

This year, the survey also asks women about:

  • Their priorities for devolved policy areas

  • What would help them engage with the Scottish budget process

How to get involved
