Applications are now open for the Ambitions 2026 Programme, a free leadership development opportunity delivered by Social Investment Scotland (SIS) in partnership with the Postcode Innovation Trust.

Designed for leaders of impact-led organisations across Scotland, the programme aims to strengthen leadership, sharpen strategic thinking and support long-term social impact.

The programme is open to social enterprises, charities and impact-driven businesses, and is aimed at founders, CEOs and senior leaders looking to take the next step in their organisation’s development.

Ambitions 2026 will run over 16 weeks, beginning on:

  • Thursday 28 May 2026 (Scale Up programme)
  • Friday 29 May 2026 (Step Up programme)

Sessions will take place weekly and last approximately 90 minutes, with breaks scheduled around key holidays.

Participants will take part in a structured programme combining expert-led sessions, peer learning and practical support. It offers valuable time and space to step back from day-to-day operations, reflect on organisational direction, and build the confidence and skills needed to lead sustainable growth.

The programme includes:

  • A mix of in-person and online workshops
  • Tailored one-to-one support
  • Specialist trustee sessions
  • Wellbeing support
  • Access to associate business support (by selection)

Through facilitated discussions and shared learning, participants will explore key topics such as commercial growth, storytelling, customer insight and building effective teams.

While the programme is free to attend, participants should note that they are responsible for any personal or travel costs associated with in-person sessions.

Applications close at 11:59am on Thursday 7th May 2026.
