Community groups and organisations across West Lothian are invited to apply for the latest round of funding through the West Lothian Climate Action Network (WLCAN) Eco Development Fund.
A total of £15,000 is available to support projects that help tackle climate change and deliver positive environmental and community benefits. Successful projects must be completed and funding spent by 31 March 2027.

What makes a strong application?
WLCAN is looking for projects that:
- Demonstrate a clear climate impact and benefit to the local community.
- Show evidence of match funding or wider community support.
- Involve collaboration with other community groups or WLCAN members.
- Have the potential to grow into longer-term climate action.
- Include detailed and realistic project costs.
If you’re applying for the first time, WLCAN also recommends looking at previously funded projects and attending one of their Q&A sessions for guidance.
