Bipolar Scotland is encouraging people across Scotland living with bipolar to access its free one-to-one peer support service, Beyond Diagnosis.

Delivered by trained peer workers with lived experience of bipolar, the service offers a safe and non-judgemental space for people to talk openly about their experiences, better understand their diagnosis and build confidence in managing their mental health.

The service aims to help reduce isolation, improve understanding and support people to develop self-management strategies that work for them. Peer support can also play an important role in helping people feel understood and less alone while waiting for, or alongside, clinical support.

Support is available across Scotland via phone or online, making the service accessible regardless of location.

Bipolar Scotland supports people living with bipolar, as well as families and carers, with a focus on helping people live well and plan positively for the future.
