Volunteers from across West Lothian were recognised and celebrated at our Volunteer Awards 2026, held as part of Volunteers’ Week, in what was a truly special and emotional afternoon.
The event brought together volunteers, organisations, supporters and community partners to celebrate the incredible people who give their time to make a difference across West Lothian every single day. From supporting mental health and wellbeing, to helping community groups thrive, coaching young people and giving decades of service, the afternoon showcased the extraordinary impact volunteers have on our communities.
There was a fantastic atmosphere throughout the day, with a real buzz in the room as nominees, friends, family members and organisations came together to recognise the dedication, kindness and commitment shown by volunteers across the region.
Guests enjoyed lunch and networking before the awards ceremony began, with inspiring stories shared and well-deserved recognition given to volunteers whose contributions often happen quietly behind the scenes but make a lasting impact.
We were delighted to welcome Moira Niven, Lord Lieutenant of West Lothian, alongside sponsors and supporters who helped make the event possible.
