Simon Community Scotland is hosting an event at Voluntary Sector Gateway West Lothian (The Gateway) in Bathgate on Thursday 19 November 2026, bringing together organisations and professionals to raise awareness of gambling harm and encourage meaningful discussion.
Gambling harm is often hidden and can affect individuals, families and communities in ways that may not always be immediately recognised.
The event, From Awareness to Action, aims to bring people together to explore the issue, increase understanding and highlight how gambling harm may be more relevant to different areas of work than initially thought.
Simon Community Scotland’s Gambling Harm Team is encouraging professionals, community organisations and anyone with an interest in the topic to attend, share experiences and contribute to the conversation.
