Edinburgh Children Holidays Fund

Summary

Charities and other organisations can apply for funding to provide holidays for disadvantaged children and their families. Previous grants have been awarded to primary schools, young carers projects and charities working with children living in poverty.

Applications can be submitted at any time.

Exclusions

• Applications are not accepted from individuals.
• No grants are given for childcare or expensive foreign travel.
• The fund is not applicable for children “Looked after away from home” as there is departmental budgetary provision available in these cases.
