Get Grants is hosting a free online Introduction to Storytelling in Fundraising workshop on Tuesday 8 September 2026, from 1pm–2pm via Zoom.
Part of Get Grants’ series of free introductory workshops, the session will explore how charities and community organisations can use storytelling to communicate their impact and strengthen their fundraising.
The workshop will cover:
- Identifying and sharing authentic stories
- Communicating outcomes clearly
- Using storytelling techniques to engage funders and donors
- Bringing your organisation’s impact to life
- Crafting effective messages for funding applications and fundraising campaigns
The session aims to give participants an introduction to the fundamentals of effective storytelling and practical ideas they can use to better connect with funders, supporters and their communities.
By the end of the workshop, attendees should have a clearer understanding of how compelling stories can showcase their organisation’s work and strengthen their wider fundraising efforts.
