Third sector work is often driven by passion, commitment and strong values—but this can sometimes lead to challenges in managing relationships across teams, boards and partnerships.
This upcoming online workshop from Scottish Mediation offers practical support to help charities and voluntary organisations navigate conflict, improve communication and build healthier working relationships.
About the workshop
With over ten years’ experience supporting organisations across Scotland, Scottish Mediation will lead this three-hour interactive session, drawing on established mediation techniques to help participants:
- Understand the common causes of conflict in the third sector
- Recognise how disagreements can escalate
- Learn effective approaches to managing relationships and handling complaints
- Explore constructive ways to resolve issues before they become entrenched
The session will also provide insight into how mediation works, when it is most effective, and how it can support more positive organisational dynamics.
Who should attend?
This workshop is suitable for anyone working or volunteering in the third sector, including staff, trustees and volunteers.
Participants will be able to claim 3 hours of CPD.
