NHS Lothian is inviting third sector staff and volunteers who support families with babies and young children to attend a free online webinar on Wednesday 2 December 2026, from 1pm to 2.15pm.
The session, Supporting Infant Feeding: Practical Guidance for Third Sector Partners, will provide practical, evidence-based information on infant feeding, helping organisations better support families in their communities.
What Will the Webinar Cover?
The webinar will explore a range of topics, including:
- Breastfeeding and formula feeding.
- Introducing solid foods to babies.
- Challenging common myths around infant feeding.
- Good practice when supporting families through food banks and food pantries.
- How third sector organisations can support families with infant feeding.
The session will be delivered by Nicola Tait, Assistant Programme Manager for Maternal and Infant Nutrition at NHS Lothian.
