Nicola’s Expands Support to Young Women Aged 16+

Nicola’s – Supporting Women in West Lothian has announced an important update to its community support sessions, with services now open to young women aged 16 and over.

The change aims to widen access to support at an earlier stage, giving more young women the opportunity to benefit from a safe and welcoming space focused on mental health and wellbeing.

New Bathgate venue launching

A new location will open in Bathgate from:

Saturday 14 March 2026
Time: 10.00am – 12.00pm
Where: ISM Psychology, 19B South Bridge Street, Bathgate, EH48 1TR
Frequency: 2nd and 4th Saturday of each month

Ongoing West Lothian College sessions

Sessions will continue at West Lothian College (Compass Point):

  • Last Friday of each month

  • 10.00am – 12.00pm

What Nicola’s offers

Nicola’s sessions are:

  • Free to attend

  • A supportive, welcoming space for women

  • Focused on mental health and emotional wellbeing

  • Offering informal peer support, signposting and advocacy

Professionals and community organisations are encouraged to share this information with any women aged 16+ who may benefit from additional community-based support.

By expanding its age range and locations, Nicola’s hopes to reach more women across West Lothian who may need connection, understanding and support.
