The Scottish Ethnic Minority Talent Summit & Festival (SEMFEST26) will take place across Scotland in October 2026, bringing together employers, policymakers, educators, community leaders, entrepreneurs and professionals to celebrate ethnic minority talent, promote inclusion, and support Scotland’s future workforce.
Delivered by DataKirk, SEMFEST26 provides a national platform for discussion and collaboration across a range of sectors including energy, housing, health, digital innovation and public services.

Aberdeen – 5 October 2026
ESG, Energy & Diverse Talent
Hosted at Elphinstone Hall, University of Aberdeen, this event will explore sustainability, energy transition, ESG leadership and diverse talent development across the North East.
Glasgow – 26 October 2026
Digital Health, Environment & Diversity
Hosted at the Advanced Research Centre, University of Glasgow, this session will focus on health equity, environmental justice, digital innovation and inclusive growth.
Fife – 27 October 2026
Housing & Social Care
Hosted at the Carnegie Conference Centre in partnership with Kingdom Housing Association and Fife College, this event will explore housing, social care, workforce development and regional opportunity.
Edinburgh – 29 October 2026
National Summit & Awards Ceremony
The flagship event will bring together policymakers, business leaders, financial institutions and innovators to discuss inclusion, leadership and economic growth, followed by the Scottish Ethnic Minority Talent Awards ceremony.
