The latest edition of the Suicide Prevention Scotland newsletter is now available, sharing updates, resources and examples of suicide prevention work taking place across Scotland.

The August 2026 edition includes:

  • New resources to help understand and challenge suicide-related stigma, bringing together lived experience, evidence and practical guidance.
  • Updates on suicide prevention work with children and young people, including resources for schools and developments across colleges and universities.
  • The latest on the Enabling Conversations Toolkit, including a new implementation guide to support its use in local areas.
  • New and refreshed learning and support resources, including Skilled Level Facilitator resources and materials for World Suicide Prevention Day.
  • Examples of local suicide prevention activity across Scotland, including bereavement support, rural outreach and the United to Prevent Suicide Declaration.

The newsletter may be particularly useful for third sector organisations, community groups and anyone involved in mental health, wellbeing or suicide prevention work.
