Following our Introduction to AI for Beginners session in August, The Gateway is hosting a follow-up session this October for anyone ready to take the next step with AI.
Beyond the Basics: Using AI in the Workplace will take place online via Microsoft Teams on Thursday 22 October, from 10am–11am.
This practical one-hour session will explore how tools such as ChatGPT and Microsoft Copilot can be used more effectively in everyday work, with a focus on getting better results and using AI confidently and responsibly.
What will the session cover?
We’ll explore:
- Writing more effective prompts
- Using context and follow-up prompts to improve results
- Practical workplace uses for AI
- Reviewing and refining AI-generated content
- Checking AI-generated information for accuracy
- Privacy, data protection and responsible use
- Practical examples relevant to third sector organisations
The session is aimed at anyone who already has a basic understanding of generative AI or has started experimenting with AI tools.
You do not need to have attended our previous Introduction to AI for Beginners session.
