The West Lothian Local Action Group (LAG) is looking for new volunteer members to help support the Community Led Local Development (CLLD) Funding Programme across rural West Lothian.

The programme supports local communities to tackle challenges, develop new ideas and create opportunities that make a positive difference in their areas.

Since 2022, over £820,000 has supported projects across rural West Lothian, including cost of living support, food growing initiatives, improvements to community buildings and recreational activities for young people.

What’s involved?

The Local Action Group is made up of individuals with local knowledge and an interest in supporting their communities. Members meet approximately 4 times a year, either in person or online, to assess projects and help plan future activities.

Who can get involved?

Anyone who lives, works or volunteers in rural West Lothian is welcome to express an interest. Applications are particularly encouraged from underrepresented groups and people living in smaller villages.
