Applications are now open for the Year 6 Communities Mental Health & Wellbeing Fund in West Lothian.
A total of £26,500 is available to support voluntary and third sector organisations delivering community-based activities that promote positive mental health and wellbeing for adults across West Lothian during 2027/28.
Micro-grants of £500–£2,500 available
For Year 6, organisations can apply for a micro-grant of between £500 and £2,500 to support projects and activities that help improve mental health and wellbeing within their communities.
The fund is intended to support community-based approaches to mental health and wellbeing, helping local organisations make a positive difference to people across West Lothian.
Why is Year 6 operating as a micro-grants scheme?
As part of the Scottish Government’s Fairer Funding Pilot, a significant proportion of the funding available across Years 5 and 6 was allocated to organisations through two-year funding awards.
As a result, the remaining £26,500 available for Year 6 will be distributed through a micro-grants scheme.
