As part of the Community Empowerment (Scotland) Act 2015 (the Act) West Lothian Council has established its Governance arrangements for the common good assets to ensure there is community involvement in decisions taken about their identification, use and disposal.
One part of these arrangements is to make available any monies held to the local community to support community projects in the four former burgh areas. Linlithgow is one of four historic burghs in West Lothian and there is currently £18,408.17 currently available for community projects.
