The cost-of-living crisis is affecting everyone—individuals, communities, and businesses. Its impact is most severe on those who are already vulnerable and disadvantaged, worsening existing inequalities. There are significant concerns that essential support and services provided by the sector to the most disadvantaged in local communities may be reduced or disappear entirely in the future.
Additionally, many staff and volunteers in the sector are themselves directly affected by the crisis.
In light of these challenges, the Third Sector Strategy Group has decided to establish a dedicated Third Sector Cost of Living Forum. This forum will work collaboratively to identify ideas, opportunities, and potential solutions.
