Community Outreach Event: An Evening for Local Groups

We’re delighted to invite you to a community event for local groups and organisations, hosted in partnership by The Gateway, West Lothian Council, and Fauldhouse and Breich Valley Community Development Trust.

This free evening session is open to anyone involved in community activity — whether you’re just starting out or have been active for years.

Time: 6pm – 8pm
Venue: Eastfield Development Centre, 2 Eastfield Rd, Fauldhouse, EH47 9LE

What to expect
Together, we’ll be sharing the support available to community groups across West Lothian, including:

• Volunteering

• Good governance

• Finding and applying for funding

• How to get involved with Voluntary Sector Gateway West Lothian and our partners

• West Lothian Council’s Community Benefit Wishlist – connecting local needs with added social value from council contracts

• An introduction to the Engaging Communities Toolkit – a practical guide to help plan and improve community engagement

There’ll also be time to chat, ask questions, and connect with others over tea and coffee.
