Voluntary Sector Gateway West Lothian is hosting an online Volunteer Management Training Session designed to support organisations to effectively recruit, support and retain volunteers.

This session will introduce the key principles of effective volunteer management and how to create a positive, well-supported volunteering experience.

Topics will include:

• Legal and regulatory responsibilities
• The Volunteer Charter
• Safe and inclusive recruitment, including safeguarding and PVG considerations
• The volunteer management cycle
• Developing clear roles, inductions, training and ongoing support
• Volunteer policies, agreements and practical resources

This session is ideal for organisations looking to strengthen their volunteer programmes and build confidence in managing volunteers.
