Two significant funding opportunities are now open for applications, providing crucial support for community-led nature restoration and organisations working with people with learning disabilities in Scotland.

Neighbourhood Ecosystem Fund

A second round of the Neighbourhood Ecosystem Fund is now open, offering grants of up to £13,500 to support local nature restoration projects. This fund aims to inspire, encourage, and enable community groups to develop ambitious ecosystem restoration initiatives while raising awareness of the importance of locally-led efforts.

Administered by Inspiring Scotland, the fund is supported by the Carman Family Foundation, the Scottish Government’s Nature Restoration Fund (managed by NatureScot), and other key funders. Community groups across Scotland are encouraged to apply before the deadline on Monday 3 March 2025.
