New Post: 1st Step Bikes Team Coordinator
Salary: £26 0000 (0.6 pro-rata).
The 1st Step Bikes Team Coordinator (0.6 post that can be worked flexibly) is an exciting new opportunity for the right person, who has the skills and experience to take a leadership role in our award winning team.
Our new Team Coordinator will lead our small but highly skilled team of bike mechanics and volunteers to deliver supported training courses especially for people affected by addiction or poor mental health and repair customers’ and donated bikes for resale or re-donation to good causes. Our work is very much focused on “building recovery, one bike at a time”. The new post holder will be able to support and encourage members of the community who are recovering from addiction and mental ill health to get involved, helping them recognise and build on their strengths and progress in their recovery journey.
If you think you have what it takes to inspire people about bikes and cycling, and use this to bring out the best in them, and also the organisation and communication skills to work with a wide range of stakeholders, then you may be the right person for this new role.
