Bowel Cancer UK has some new volunteering opportunities within various regions. Details about the roles and links for applying to volunteer are provided below.
Awareness Volunteers
The Awareness programme aims to provide accurate information and advice about bowel cancer signs and symptoms through the national roadshow, as well as talks and stands both in person and virtually to businesses, schools, community groups – you name it! Enthusiastic volunteers who have experience with bowel cancer, either personally or through a close friend or family member, are essential for these activities. If you have experience with bowel cancer and are confident speaking to others about the disease, this role could be for you.
Bowel Cancer UK is currently looking for volunteers in specific areas where the need is highest. Please only apply if you are from one of the areas listed below:
- Scotland: Lothian, Lanarkshire, Inverclyde, Renfrewshire, Glasgow, and the Highlands
