On Tuesday 29 October, from 9am-5pm, the Sharing, Influencing and Living in a Digital Scotland in-person DigiFest event is being delivered by the Digital Health and Social Care Team at ALLIANCE, in collaboration with the Digital Citizen Panel. This event will look at how collectively we can: produce accessible digital services, tackle the barriers to digital inclusion and support the workforce to become digitally enabled.
The event will feature speakers from across the private, public, and third sectors – including Scottish Government, TL Tech, Mhor Collective – and citizens with lived experience with the aim of sharing learning, showcasing the successes, and highlighting opportunities for citizen participation and coproduction.
Other key themes of the day include:
- Digital Tools Supporting Integration
- Digital Inclusion
- Good Practice in AI in Health and Social Care. (This session will be hosted on Zoom, please get in touch with Alliance Scotland to join this lunchtime session remotely)
To register your place either in person, or for the hybrid AI session, please call 0141 404 0231 or email: dhcscot@alliance-scotland.org.uk. There are a limited number of places available for the in-person event. Once capacity is reached, you will be able to join a waitlist in the event of cancellations.
DigiFest24 will be celebrated from this date onwards, with more events hosted online in December. For more information on other events, please visit the DigiFest website.
