NHS Lothian’s mobile drop-in unit is coming to West Lothian this week (Friday 9th July and Saturday 10th July) to make it easier for people working in retail, hospitality or those who are out and about to get their vaccine.

NHS Lothian has teamed up with Scottish Ambulance Service, which operates the drop-in unit, to provide injections to all adults over the age of 18. It carries Moderna and Astra Zeneca vaccines only so will not be able to provide second doses of Pfizer.

On Friday (9th July) and Saturday (10th July) – 11am until 7pm – the drop-in unit will be parked at:

The car park located outside Kidzeco (the one with the soft play) next to The Centre & Primark, Livingston.  If you are driving from Asda along the Almondvale Boulevard, it’s the first left immediately after the first set of traffic lights. The postcode for the Car Park is EH54 6NB.

If you are shopping or working at The Centre, the drop-in unit can be accessed on foot via the exit next to The Royal Bank of Scotland/B&M or via the Mall Cafe/Vision Express exit. There is parking at The Centre.   Free parking is also available directly across the road at The Terrace car park.

Anyone over the age of 18, who have not yet had their first dose – for whatever reason – can attend a drop-in clinic without an appointment, while those who are waiting for their second dose can turn up as long as they received their first injection of the COVID-19 vaccine at least eight weeks before.
