West Lothian Youth Action Project (WLYAP) is hiring for two exciting roles, offering the chance to make a real difference in the lives of young people across West Lothian:
Sessional Detached Youth Workers
- Hourly rate: £12 – £15 (based on experience)
- Hours: Flexible shifts on Thursday and Friday evenings, Friday afternoons, and Saturday afternoon/evening
- Contract: Funded until 30th June 2025
We are seeking motivated individuals with a passion for supporting young people, helping reduce risk-taking behaviour, and building positive community relationships.
Part-Time Support Worker (Assess and Connect Team)
- Hours: 18 per week
- Salary: £28,981 (pro rata)
- Contract: Funded for two years
Join a multi-agency team working to disrupt patterns of concern among young people, providing 1-1 support to prevent conflict with the law, reduce risks, and improve wellbeing.
