The Third Sector Human Rights & Equalities (THRE) team has launched their new downloadable guide for groups and organisations on Equalities and Human Rights (EHR) Impact Assessments.
The guide is the first of their new series of resources on embedding human rights and equalities into policies and processes. EHR Impact Assessments are designed to ensure accountability for groups and organisations as they take a human rights and equalities first approach to their decision-making and organisational development.
THRE’s guide (available as both a pdf and a Word document) describes the reasoning for undertaking EHR Impact Assessments, along with steps to start the process.
