The Robertson Trust has announced the launch of its new Community Spaces Fund, providing vital support to local community centres, hubs, and anchor organisations in areas of Scotland experiencing higher rates of poverty and trauma.
Through this fund, registered charities in Scotland with annual incomes between £30,000 and £500,000 can apply for revenue grants of between £5,000 and £20,000 per year, for up to three years. These grants are designed to help sustain and enhance spaces that deliver or host a variety of essential services and activities for local residents.
The Community Spaces Fund aims to strengthen community-led support by funding organisations that play a key role in preventing or reducing poverty and trauma. The Robertson Trust is particularly keen to support organisations that actively engage with groups at higher risk, including disabled people, individuals experiencing racial inequity, and asylum seekers and refugees. Successful applicants should demonstrate how their services contribute to breaking down barriers and increasing access for these communities.
Applications for the Community Spaces Fund are open on a rolling basis, meaning eligible charities can apply at any time.
