The group meets weekly on a Tuesday evening at Blackburn and Seafield Parish Church Halls with different times for each age group. Anchor Boys (aged 5-7) meet 6:30pm until 7:45pm, Junior Section (aged 8-11) meet 6:30pm until 8:00pm and Company Section (11years+) meet 7:30pm until 9:30pm. We provide our members with opportunities to learn, grow and discover in a safe, fun, and caring environment and are an inclusive organisation, welcoming all members, whatever their background.
Throughout the Boys’ Brigade, volunteers provide informal education for children and young people, helping them develop their skills and abilities, show leadership, and take on responsibility, all whilst having a great deal of fun and taking part in many different adventures. Trips and activities that take place outside of our weekly sessions, sometimes incur an additional charge.
Our volunteers provided with training, are experienced in working with children and young people, and are subject to PVG Safeguarding checks and training.
