The Community Fridge is open Monday till Friday and is available to all who want to access it. The Community Fridge is doing a fantastic job of reducing food inequality in the area and allowing easy access to fresh food and to try out new recipes whilst reducing the amount of fresh food being put into landfill from supermarkets. Individuals pay what they can afford and feel is right for the products on offer within the fridge.
Resident volunteers collect the food from partner shops and supermarkets, clean, stock and re-organise the fridge. All money raised is reinvested into our local community.
