You are invite to the Partnership for Parents Lunch and Learn session to find out more about this exciting project and how it can help the people who you are working with.

This project is made up of third sector partners (The Larder, Lead), Kidzeco, Voluntary sector gateway, Volunteer Matters, Environmental Health and CAB).  The project has been designed to help parents on their journey to improve employability by having access to holistic support that Volunteer options, Work placements, Mentoring, Accredited and other training and Advice and Income maximisation.

The project is already seeing some positive outcomes and we need to spread the word so that as many people who are eligible have access to this great project.   If you are unable to attend please ask one of your colleagues if they can attend and please share to other networks you feel would be interested.

What we do:

Parents will be supported to understand their own unique barriers towards progression into sustainable employment.

Who is Eligible:
To be eligible, parents can be either not working or seeking better employment opportunities.

In addition, they must meet at least one of the follow criteria:

  • Lone parent
  • Aged under 25
  • Child under the age of one
  • Three or more children
  • Parent or child has a disability
  • From a minority ethnic family
