Social Investment Scotland (SIS) and Social Enterprise Scotland have launched the joint Purchase Power Programme.
Taking place from Tuesday 25 – Thursday 27 February 2025, this programme aims to support social enterprises (and enterprising groups and charities) in becoming “purchase ready” – from honing their skills and storytelling to refining operational excellence, the programme is designed to equip participants with the tools and insights needed to win business and scale their impact.
The Purchase Power Programme is split into four sessions focusing on:
Procurement and Contracting:
- How to search for and secure contracting opportunities
- Crafting your unique story and value proposition
- Pricing, tendering, and negotiation essentials
Logistics and Operations
- Streamlining logistics and ensuring buyer satisfaction
- Building reliable operational partnerships
Trends and Product Development
- Current consumer trends and how to leverage them
- Insight into customer buying behaviours and enhancing your market presence
Buyer Matchmaking
- Connect directly with corporate buyers and start meaningful conversations
- Gain tips on relationship-building brand alignment, and exchange experiences with peers.
