Applications are now open for the Scottish Charity Awards 2024.
Now in their 18th year, the awards are designed to celebrate the best of the third sector. Run by the Scottish Council for Voluntary Organisations (SCVO), the awards are open to nominations for and applications from registered charities, social enterprises, community and voluntary groups, and volunteers.
This year, SCVO is keen to hear from and about groups, organisations and people who reflect and highlight the diversity of the sector. Given the wide range of third sector activities and groups operating across West Lothian, our team at The Gateway would love to see some local nominations from the area.
This year’s categories (with winners determined by a panel of judges) are:
- Charity of the Year
- Small Charity of the Year
- Trustee of the Year
- Volunteer of the Year
- Employee of the Year
- Partnership of the Year
- Campaign of the Year
- Community Impact
- Climate Impact
- Digital Difference
All finalists from these categories will also be entered into the running for the People’s Choice Award, which is voted on by members of the public.
The deadline for applications and nominations is 12pm on Friday 15th March. The awards ceremony, hosted by Sally Magnusson, will take place in Glasgow on Thursday 20th June.
