You may have seen that SDS recently launched its new strategic plan, Skills for A Changing World.
This new plan, which has been approved by Scottish Government Ministers, sets out a bold vision for an agile, dynamic, employer-led skills and career ecosystem, and is the result of extensive consultations with partners, stakeholders, service users and colleagues over the past 12 months.
As you would expect, it is fully aligned with the Scottish Government’s National Strategy for Economic Transformation, and reflects the fact that skills development is a positive and consistent theme across Scotland’s national response to the current economic social and environmental challenges. SDS have also published our Annual Operating Plan for 2022/23 which you can find here.
Also on the SDS website, there is information on the support they can provide during the current cost-of living crisis.
