Yesterday, our staff team participated in a comprehensive Racism Awareness, Discrimination, and Hate Crime training session, demonstrating our commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive environment for all. This important session, facilitated by Race Equality First, offered valuable insights into the impacts of racism, discrimination, and hate crimes in our communities, as well as practical strategies to combat these issues.
The training covered key areas such as identifying and addressing racism in its various forms, understanding the root causes of discrimination, and recognising the importance of standing together against hate crime. By taking part in this session, our staff further equipped themselves with the knowledge and tools needed to advocate for equality and challenge injustice, both in the workplace and beyond.
