The objective of The Big Help Out is to raise awareness of volunteering throughout the UK and provide opportunities for people to experience volunteering and make a difference in their communities. This is not a profit making or fundraising initiative.
This year The Big Help Out will take place over the weekend 7th – 9th June, and more people than ever will be lending a hand!
6 million people joined in with The Big Help Out in May 2023 and it was fantastic to see people coming together to lend a hand in their communities to experience how rewarding volunteering can be, and the power it has to make a change.
This month will see the launch of the new app, where everyone can get involved. The Big Help Out is not just for one day, you can lend a hand all year round. There is an opportunity for everyone! There’s never been a better time to join in, lend a hand, and make a change.
