The Robertson Trust has announced the opening of its Wee Grants and Transport Grants today (30th September).

  • The newly revamped Transport Grants provide increased funding for charities, ranging from £5,000 to £20,000 per year for one to three years. This funding supports the costs of vehicles or broader transport expenses, helping charities deliver their services and eliminate barriers for individuals and communities affected by poverty and trauma. The Trust recognises that a lack of access to affordable, reliable transport can limit opportunities for participation in society and hinder people’s ability to thrive.
  • Additionally, the Wee Grants now offer funding of up to £5,000 for constituted community groups and charities in Scotland with an annual income of less than £30,000, an increase from the previous maximum of £2,000. These grants are aimed at supporting organisations that focus on building strong communities in areas with higher rates of poverty and trauma or working with groups at greater risk of experiencing poverty and trauma.

Further details can be found here. These are the first funds to reopen following a recent pause to refine the Trust’s funding priorities. Dates for the return of the new-look Large and Small Grants will be confirmed shortly.
