Significant changes are coming under the Disclosure (Scotland) Act 2020, set to take effect from 1 April 2025. To help organisations stay informed and compliant, Volunteer Scotland is offering a range of free training webinars covering key updates and legal requirements.

Key Changes Include:

✔️ Grace period for PVG scheme membership
✔️ Trustee roles requiring PVG membership
✔️ Changes to age definitions for children and protected adults
✔️ New requirements for applicants
✔️ ScotAccount application process
✔️ Notification requirements for changes to personal details

Available Training Sessions:

🔹 Disclosure Act Implementation Sessions – A 2-hour session covering the major changes and how they impact your group, volunteers, and staff. Booking required.

🔹 Drop-in Q&A Sessions – A 1-hour informal session to ask questions and discuss the new requirements. No booking needed – join at any time.

🔹 Disclosure Act Legal Requirement Training – A 1.5-hour session on compliance, legal responsibilities, and referrals under the PVG scheme. Booking required.

Sessions are available on weekdays, weekends, during the day, and in the evening – all held online.
