VSGWL and the Joint Forum of Community Councils have agreed to work closely with West Lothian Council to find solutions for the 38 community centres and village halls that are potentially facing closure. Constructive talks have already taken place with council officers. VSGWL and the Joint Forum will host a meeting in November with representatives from the management committees that run these facilities, aiming to listen to their views and identify a way forward. Further information will be provided once a suitable venue and date are confirmed.
