Year 4 of the West Lothian Communities Mental Health and Wellbeing Fund is Now Open for Applications!

Voluntary Sector Gateway West Lothian (VSGWL) is delighted to announce that applications are now open for Year 4 of the West Lothian Communities Mental Health and Wellbeing Fund!

Administered by VSGWL, this fund supports community-based projects and initiatives aimed at addressing the mental health and wellbeing needs of adults in West Lothian. The fund places a strong emphasis on prevention and early intervention, focusing on reducing mental health inequalities. It also prioritises issues such as social isolation and loneliness, suicide prevention, and tackling poverty and inequality, with a particular focus on responding to the cost-of-living crisis and supporting those facing socioeconomic disadvantage.

A total of £467k is available for organisations in West Lothian for projects running in 2024/25.

Eligible groups, including charities, social enterprises, community and voluntary organisations, parent councils, and other third sector bodies operating in the area, can apply for 2 grant types:

Small Grants: £2k – £10k
Large Grants: £10k – £50k

Applications must be submitted online.

The deadline for applications is noon, Thursday 31st October.
