About the Community Fridge: Established in early 2020, the Community Fridge project aims to combat food insecurity while tackling the issue of food waste. Through generous donations from local businesses, perfectly good food destined for landfill is rescued and made accessible to the community. Since its inception, the project has flourished, expanding its facilities to accommodate the growing demand. Currently serving 990 members with an average of 150-200 visits per week, the Community Fridge has become a vital resource for many in our community.
Brunch Club: In addition to providing surplus food, we offer a meal delivery service known as the Brunch Club. This initiative caters to individuals who may face challenges in preparing nutritious meals for themselves, ensuring they have access to wholesome food options.
